Editorial Policy & Corrections
The standards we use to keep explanations useful, evidence-aware and consistent with the tools.
Editorial responsibility
Rizwan Aslam is the publicly named founder and publisher of GoldenRatioFace.net. Questions about a page, source or result explanation can be sent through our contact page.
This policy sets expectations for new and revised material. It is not a claim that every older page has already passed a complete scientific, legal or technical review.
Evidence and sourcing
- Use primary research for research claims and official documentation for software behavior wherever practical.
- Explain the population, method and limitations of a study before applying its findings more broadly.
- Separate a mathematical identity, a study result and a product design choice.
- Do not claim measured accuracy, typical score ranges, demographic fairness or clinical validation without evidence specific to the method.
- Link readers to relevant sources, not to citations that merely contain similar keywords.
Match words to working features
Tool copy should state what inputs it uses, what it compares and how scores are produced. A landmark detector and a shape classifier are separate components. Decorative diagrams and sample results must be labeled so they cannot be mistaken for an actual analysis.
Tests should be described precisely. Passing mocked code checks does not establish real-device performance, scientific accuracy or results across different populations. Known limitations should sit near the relevant result or explanation.
AI assistance and authorship
AI tools may assist with drafting, research organization, code or illustrations. Assistance does not establish factual accuracy or professional expertise. Material claims, citations, links and behavior need verification before publication.
Name the person responsible for a page when appropriate. Do not invent credentials, named reviewers, awards, testing experience or personal use. Identify AI-generated illustrative imagery when it might otherwise be mistaken for a real person, study participant or test result.
Corrections and updates
- Send the page URL, the specific statement or problem, and supporting evidence if available.
- Check the concern against the source or reproduce the reported behavior.
- Correct a verified error in the relevant page and, where needed, connected pages or schema.
- Explain a material change when it alters how readers should interpret a result.
Update dates should reflect meaningful changes. A routine date change is not evidence of new research. We cannot promise every report will be resolved within a fixed number of hours.
Commercial relationships
Disclose sponsorships or affiliate relationships near the relevant recommendation when they apply. Payment does not make a claim true or replace supporting evidence. Links between commonly owned websites should be described accurately.
This policy does not assert that the website has no advertising or commercial relationships. Any current arrangements must also be reflected in the relevant page and privacy disclosures.
Why these standards matter
Readers should be able to identify who produced an explanation, how it was prepared and why it is useful. Google’s people-first content guidance describes similar questions. Following editorial standards is not a guarantee of rankings or search visibility.
